Base Salary

$87k - $165k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Partner with classified program and closed-area teams to assess operational goals and adopt ROCKS automation and Kubernetes platform products.
  • Provide knowledge transfer to System Administrators on Infrastructure-as-Code, observability, deployment, scaling, and Kubernetes-based solutions.
  • Support deployment, provisioning, operations, and maintenance as teams adopt and scale ROCKS products.
  • Coordinate with automation, platform, and application engineering teams to keep deployment and lifecycle management aligned with ROCKS standards.
  • Integrate automation with enterprise tools, APIs, and cloud environments to improve provisioning and security posture.
  • Implement security hardening and compliance automation against recommended benchmarks.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize automation workflows while supporting high availability.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent experience with at least five years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least three years of experience.
  • Experience partnering with technical IT teams, including System Administrators, on OS hardening, application provisioning, and service provisioning workflows.
  • Experience with Ansible for configuration management, application deployment, workflow orchestration, and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance; an active and existing Secret clearance is required after day one.
  • Preferred experience with API integration, Infrastructure-as-Code principles, Ansible architecture, execution environments, and containerized automation.
  • Preferred experience deploying cloud-native platforms in classified or unclassified environments and understanding GitOps and Kubernetes package-management technologies such as ArgoCD, Packer, Helm, and Kustomize.
  • Preferred experience with VMware or HPE Morpheus, network security concepts, automated security-control enforcement, and troubleshooting complex automation issues.
