Base Salary
$130k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work with product owners to understand requirements and drive the full software development lifecycle.
- Build simple, extensible software that customers can customize.
- Design and implement new products and features while enhancing the existing product suite.
- Apply data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance and scale considerations.
- Make full-stack architectural decisions across AI integration, SSR, Node.js, and the ServiceNow Glide platform.
- Conduct architecture and code reviews, mentor engineers, and provide technical direction.
- Operate Kubernetes services and build production observability tooling when applicable.
Requirements
- Completed a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
- At least three years of professional software engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in JavaScript and substantial experience with Java or a similar object-oriented language such as C++, C#, or Go.
- Strong experience with Angular, React, Vue, or Lit and with web componentization and reusability.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance and scale considerations.
- Strong experience developing, troubleshooting, and optimizing relational databases.
- Strong experience with server-side rendering and hydration, including isomorphic rendering failure modes.
- Systems-level Node.js experience with process or worker isolation, HTTP semantics, reverse proxying, and concurrent versioned rollouts.
- Comfort working across JVM/Maven backends, Java, ServiceNow Glide conventions, and Node/TypeScript SSR stacks.
- Experience as a senior individual contributor responsible for code quality and mentoring.
- Exposure to cloud development, platforms, web development, frameworks, and service-oriented architecture.
- Preferred experience with multi-target build systems, Kubernetes operations, Grafana dashboards, and Prometheus alerting.
- Experience leveraging or critically evaluating AI for work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
