Responsibilities
- Lead the development and architecture of scalable, elastic distributed systems for hyperscale workloads.
- Design fault-tolerant, highly available systems with observability, testing, replication, and resilience mechanisms.
- Optimize OCI components, internal tools, and applications to improve performance, efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.
- Drive operational readiness and production troubleshooting while meeting service-level objectives.
- Implement security, compliance, infrastructure as code, and automation for safe patching, upgrades, and rollbacks.
- Provide peer mentorship and contribute to a culture of performance engineering.
Requirements
- Experience or demonstrated expertise designing and building scalable distributed systems and cloud services.
- Ability to develop fault-tolerant, highly available systems for high-throughput workloads.
- Knowledge of observability, testing, replication, resilience, operational readiness, and production troubleshooting.
- Ability to implement security, compliance, infrastructure as code, and automation practices.
- Ability to lead architecture and development efforts and mentor peers.
