Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update headless CMS and WordPress websites for multiple schools.
- Design and implement website features, functionality, templates, and user experience improvements.
- Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, marketing, and IT staff to define requirements and project plans.
- Provide architectural oversight, code refactoring, code reviews, pull request management, and code merges.
- Assist with website migrations, bug triage, production issue resolution, testing, deployments, security, monitoring, backups, and maintenance.
- Monitor website traffic, user behavior, and analytics to guide ongoing improvements.
- Own development, testing, deployment, and production code maintenance end to end.
- Stay current with web development industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in headless CMS, WordPress, and web development, with strong React ecosystem knowledge.
- Proficiency in front-end and back-end development for Contentful CMS.
- Strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
- Deep understanding of React patterns, hooks, context, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Next.js, server-side rendering/static site generation concepts, and modern build tools such as Webpack and Vite.
- Knowledge of data caching and GraphQL for headless CMS applications.
- Understanding of web design, user experience, accessibility, website analytics, monitoring, security, backups, and maintenance.
- Strong communication, collaboration, independent work, and project management skills.
- Bachelor's degree and/or certifications in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with schools or educational organizations is a plus.
- Ability to clear the required background check.
