Responsibilities
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and management using configuration-as-code and configuration-management practices.
- Design and build infrastructure with engineering and product teams to support new customer-facing features.
- Identify and remove bottlenecks in production systems.
- Maintain 99.9% customer-facing uptime.
- Improve platform monitoring and alerting to enable proactive operations.
- Create deployment pipelines that move code from Git to production.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional SRE or DevOps experience working with high-volume production systems.
- Working knowledge of AWS services and technologies including Redshift, DynamoDB, Kinesis, RDS, ELB, Auto Scaling, and Lambda.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, and Chef.
- Knowledge of Python, Bash, or another scripting language.
