Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Kubernetes platforms, including upgrades, scaling, performance tuning, backups, and high-availability patterns.
- Enhance Terraform modules, Helm/Kustomize templates, GitHub Actions workflows, and self-service onboarding paths.
- Implement and support Argo CD GitOps workflows, including deployments, rollbacks, and drift detection.
- Manage container supply chains and ACR registries, including immutability and vulnerability scanning.
- Maintain platform observability with dashboards, alerts, and basic service-level objectives using Datadog, Prometheus, Graylog, or Splunk.
- Partner with development and infrastructure teams on onboarding, troubleshooting, documentation, and incident response, including participation in an on-call rotation.
- Follow security and compliance controls covering RBAC, secrets management, and change controls.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Platform, SRE, or DevOps roles with hands-on production Kubernetes experience.
- Experience with GitOps and modern CI/CD tooling such as Argo CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Working knowledge of Terraform, Helm/Kustomize, Linux, and networking fundamentals.
- Scripting experience with Bash and/or Python and comfort with YAML-driven workflows.
- Experience troubleshooting distributed systems using logs, metrics, and traces.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred qualifications include production experience with Rancher/RKE2 or AKS, policy-as-code with Kyverno or Gatekeeper, supply-chain security with cosign and SBOMs, ACR governance, hardened self-hosted runners, SOX/SOC-aligned CI/CD controls, and AI/ML-driven infrastructure automation.
- Terraform Associate or Kubernetes certifications such as CKA or CKAD are preferred.
