Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Develop repeatable infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Apply SRE practices, including monitoring, logging, alerting, capacity planning, incident management, error budgets, SLIs, and SLOs.
- Deploy, manage, and scale applications with Kubernetes and Helm.
- Build CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, operational tooling, and reusable runbooks.
- Ensure infrastructure and applications meet security and compliance standards and support security audits.
- Work directly with customers on BYOC deployments and enterprise infrastructure challenges.
- Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, product engineering, product management, developers, and support teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and use field learnings to improve deployment patterns and product adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering, site reliability engineering, or related roles.
- Strong experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, and cloud-native services.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Helm, and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.
- Experience with AIOps, SRE principles, observability tools, and monitoring platforms including Prometheus, Grafana, and GCM.
- Expertise building and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Harness.
- Strong coding skills in Python, Go, or similar languages and familiarity with Git.
- Understanding of cloud security best practices; experience with ISO 27001, SOC 2, or PCI DSS is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, attention to detail, and customer-facing skills.
