Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, code, test, maintain, enhance, and develop application components across one or more clients.
- Collaborate with and manage teams, contribute to decisions across multiple teams, and provide solutions to technical problems.
- Act as a subject matter expert and mentor junior team members.
- Evaluate and improve software development processes to increase efficiency.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with IBM Information Management System (IMS) Database.
- Proficiency in IBM Information Management System (IMS) Database.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Experience in application development and maintenance in a mainframe environment.
- Strong understanding of database management principles and practices.
- COBOL mainframe and Job Control Language (JCL) experience are preferred.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle methodologies is preferred.
