Base Salary
$108k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Operate complex, high-traffic, business-critical internet and cloud-based product systems.
- Plan, design, and implement scalable local- and wide-area network solutions across multiple platforms and protocols.
- Troubleshoot network issues and coordinate router and switch installations with vendors.
- Develop automation tools for network deployment, administration, and monitoring.
- Conduct redundancy, resilience, and failover testing to meet uptime standards.
- Support project planning, cost analysis, vendor comparisons, implementation, training, and proposal writing.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve system operability and provide on-call coverage as needed.
Requirements
- Experience operating business-critical internet, network, or cloud product systems is required by the role scope.
- Knowledge of IP and VOIP-based networking, routers, switches, network performance, redundancy, resilience, and failover is relevant to the position.
- Ability to automate deployment, administration, and monitoring processes and collaborate with development teams.
- Ability to participate in project planning, vendor coordination, cost analysis, implementation, and on-call support.
