Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and customers to understand challenges and design effective solutions.
- Measure, inspect, and use data to drive engineering decisions.
- Design, test, code, and instrument new software solutions.
- Improve engineering processes using test-driven development, behavior-driven development, microservice architecture, and vertical slice architecture.
- Support live applications through proactive monitoring, rapid incident response, and continuous improvement.
- Analyze systems and processes to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Mentor peers, promote continuous learning, and develop subject-matter expertise.
- Independently complete work, review solutions with others, and resolve complex problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Angular and/or React.
- Experience building and consuming APIs and designing ASP.NET RESTful APIs.
- Experience writing comprehensive unit tests and test suites.
- Strong understanding of software security principles and OWASP guidelines.
- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with stored procedures, functions, cloud-native applications, and services.
- Experience with C#, Docker, modern relational databases, Kafka, and event-driven design.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience delivering complex projects on schedule.
- Ability to keep up with modern technologies and design; Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Terraform, GitHub Actions, NoSQL databases, GraphQL, and Azure are stated as nice-to-have skills or areas for rapid learning.
