Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end architecture for a resilient edge-to-cloud data-ingest pipeline using Redis, RabbitMQ, and custom services.
- Lead and mentor frontend and backend engineers, guide technical decisions, conduct code reviews, and establish engineering practices.
- Make full-stack systems-design decisions covering distributed data flows, messaging, APIs, data models, and UI components.
- Lead guardrails, validation layers, end-to-end tests, and supporting systems for AI-assisted software development.
- Build responsive React interfaces and reusable UI components.
- Develop secure C#/.NET backend services, REST APIs, and optimized Entity Framework data-access layers.
- Collaborate with product, design, DevSecOps, and field teams to deliver features securely and rapidly.
- Champion unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, troubleshoot defects, and improve performance.
- Support deployment goals including FedRAMP and IL5 requirements.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of relevant software engineering experience, including experience leading or mentoring engineers.
- Demonstrated ownership of architecture and design for distributed, scalable systems, ideally involving edge-to-cloud data-ingest or streaming pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Redis, RabbitMQ or comparable message brokers, and custom service development.
- Experience leading AI-enabled development teams and building guardrails, validation, testing, and support systems for AI-assisted work.
- Full-stack proficiency across React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, C#/.NET, Entity Framework, relational databases, and SQL.
- Understanding of indexing, query optimization, dependency injection, async/await, LINQ, REST APIs, state management, asynchronous data fetching, and event-driven messaging.
- Experience with testing tools such as Jest, Vitest, and React Testing Library, plus automated validation and end-to-end testing.
- Familiarity with secure software development practices and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions and GitLab.
- Ability to translate product and design requirements into well-scoped engineering tasks and work in Agile or Lean environments.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
- Active Secret or TS clearance is preferred.
- Preferred experience includes secure DoD, IL5+, or FedRAMP environments; logistics, supply chain, or asset-tracking applications; Security+ or AWS Developer/Architect certifications; and startup or rapid-growth experience.
