Responsibilities
- Establish company-wide technical standards and share software engineering best practices.
- Deliver large projects and initiatives spanning multiple teams and domains.
- Own products and services from requirements through deployment to production.
- Lead technical decisions and shape the culture and ways of working within a cross-functional team.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-availability backend products and microservices.
- Mentor fellow engineers while contributing hands-on code.
- Solve complex technical problems using modern technologies at significant scale.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on backend engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java or another general-purpose programming language and a solid understanding of clean code principles.
- Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-availability products and microservices.
- Strong familiarity with cloud-native environments, preferably AWS or comparable Azure/GCP experience, including containerized deployments and cloud workflows.
- Strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in autonomous, diverse, cross-functional teams.
