Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise business applications for Energy and Commodity Trade and Risk Management.
- Build frontend interfaces, backend services, RESTful APIs, database components, and enterprise business logic.
- Work with Microsoft SQL Server to maintain data integrity, reliable access, and performance.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, continuous improvement, and documentation.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and product stakeholders.
- Analyze and resolve issues across development and production environments, including production support when required.
- Follow engineering standards and applicable internal and external procedures while contributing to knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent, with 5–6 years of relevant software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with C#, .NET, PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs, web services, third-party integrations, and business logic for enterprise applications.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including queries, joins, indexing, performance considerations, and data integrity.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, design principles, application architecture, and structured workflows.
- Mandatory experience with Git-based version control and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to unit testing frameworks such as xUnit or PHPUnit.
- Experience with Azure services including App Services, Key Vault, Virtual Machines, Load Balancer, Azure SQL, or Azure SQL Managed Instance.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Knowledge of advanced T-SQL, CDC, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, custom agents, or AI-enabled engineering practices.
- Energy Trade and Risk Management domain knowledge is advantageous.
