Responsibilities

Ensure CI/CD design and engineering processes comply with engineering standards, process controls, and compliance reporting requirements.
Implement and manage CI/CD capabilities, configuration management scripts, environment provisioning workflows, and delivery automation.
Uplift and streamline environment management across hardware, operating systems, virtualisation, application servers, storage, databases, networking, firewalls, and load balancers.
Act as a subject matter expert for software engineering toolsets, source code management, development practices, and SDLC process improvement.
Collaborate with infrastructure, test automation, and release management teams to embed delivery best practices and align software milestones with environment strategy.
Contribute to solution engineering governance and communicate across engineering, architecture, development, supplier, and delivery teams.

Experience delivering major programs of work in complex agile environments.
Experience delivering enterprise CI/CD capabilities and advising on related tools and best practices.
Senior cloud engineering experience across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
Design and development experience with one or more of GCP, AWS, or VMware, including multi-cloud environments, multitenancy, and security implications.
Experience with cloud infrastructure automation and cloud deployment and orchestration at scale, including service discovery, deployment, monitoring, scheduling, and load balancing.
Knowledge of containerisation concepts, complex and semi-structured data such as JSON and XML, and cloud service models including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
Experience owning end-to-end software design governance across large programs and collaborating with architecture, engineering, development, and supplier teams.
Preferred qualifications include AWS or GCP cloud engineering, DevOps, or architecture certifications; cloud-native knowledge; regulated-environment experience; Java 8+ experience; CI/CD tool experience; Data API development; Docker-based services; and experience presenting to architecture and design governance forums.
Candidates must be legally authorised to work in Australia on a permanent basis without restrictions.

12-month maximum-term contract.
Flexible working and hybrid working options, with consideration for part-time or other flexible arrangements.
