Responsibilities
- Analyze alert streams across Systems, Network, and Security and determine integration strategies using webhooks, APIs, or native connectors.
- Develop notification, alert-routing, ticketing, paging, escalation, and SLA-tracking automation for GIOC operations.
- Build a unified single-pane dashboard aggregating monitoring across global infrastructure providers.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership to align routing logic, escalation protocols, visualizations, and milestones.
- Manage legacy and modern monitoring tools during the GIOC transition and integrate operational health and performance metrics into reporting.
- Document routing systems and dashboards for long-term maintainability by global operations teams.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in Platform Engineering or a similar domain.
- Significant expertise with NMS platforms, Grafana, major SIEM environments, monitoring ecosystems, infrastructure stacks, and operational procedures.
- Proven experience building complex integrations with Python and RESTful APIs over the last three years.
- Extensive experience creating or customizing dashboards using Kibana, Power BI, or similar visualization tools.
- Deep knowledge of ITSM workflows, specifically Jira and Mattermost, including mapping event severity to incident metadata.
- Experience in 24x7 global NOC/SOC environments and multi-provider datacenter logistics is preferred.
