Base Salary
$117k - $147k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex genomic datasets using in-house pipelines.
- Architect, build, and deploy automated analysis pipelines for diagnostic tests.
- Engineer novel genomic analysis tools and identify optimization pathways.
- Participate in code reviews and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with infrastructure teams to ensure scalability of R&D tools.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Bioinformatics or a related field.
- Deep understanding of high-throughput DNA sequence data analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of data structures, algorithm design, and computational complexity.
- Proficiency in Java or C++ in a professional environment.
- Scripting capability in Python or Perl for data manipulation.
- Experience with Linux environments and command-line tools.
- Familiarity with relational databases, particularly MySQL, is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining computational results.
