Base Salary

$150k - $190k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve shared CI/CD templates, jobs, abstractions, and standards across R&D teams.
  • Resolve systemic reliability issues such as flaky tests, slow builds, and caching inefficiencies, and support team migrations.
  • Build and maintain MCP server infrastructure connecting AI harnesses to Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and internal APIs.
  • Develop agent orchestration infrastructure with scheduling, observability, cost controls, and security boundaries.
  • Build reusable harness skills, slash commands, workflow scripts, and internal plugins.
  • Own sandbox infrastructure for AI-agent environments, including provisioning, lifecycle management, networking, resource management, health monitoring, and data isolation.
  • Drive AI-tooling adoption through documentation, onboarding, office hours, direct team engagement, and best-practice materials.
  • Measure platform impact through DORA metrics, adoption rates, productivity instrumentation, and time-to-productivity data.
  • Participate in design discussions and code reviews, mentor engineers, and reduce tribal knowledge through documentation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production features and infrastructure independently.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining organization-scale CI/CD systems, preferably with GitLab CI and/or Jenkins.
  • Experience building developer-facing tooling or platform services used by other engineers.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM developer tooling, including MCP, LLM APIs, agent orchestration, or AI harnesses.
  • Deep proficiency in Python or TypeScript with sufficient production experience to own and deliver features.
  • Production-scale Kubernetes and Helm experience on AWS or Azure.
  • Experience designing shared pipeline abstractions and CI/CD infrastructure used by multiple teams.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
  • Proficiency with Git, Docker, automated testing, and modern scripting languages.
  • Active daily use of AI-assisted development tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include Engineering Enablement, Platform Engineering, or Developer Productivity experience; MCP or LLM tool-integration experience; autonomous AI-agent infrastructure experience; DORA metrics and productivity instrumentation familiarity; artifact management experience with JFrog Artifactory or Nexus; regulated technology experience; and exposure to SOC 2 or similar compliance frameworks.
