Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines as code across multiple services and engineering teams.
- Implement progressive delivery strategies such as canary, blue/green, and feature-flag-based releases.
- Build reusable pipeline templates, shared libraries, and self-service tooling for consistent onboarding and software delivery.
- Improve build performance through caching, parallelization, and other techniques.
- Reduce friction across local development, testing, CI, and deployment workflows.
- Integrate AI-assisted capabilities for pipeline diagnostics, test generation or selection, code-review automation, and failure triage.
- Implement software supply-chain practices including dependency scanning, artifact signing, and SBOM generation.
- Use Infrastructure-as-Code to provision and maintain CI/CD infrastructure.
- Monitor pipeline health and deployment success to drive continuous improvement.
- Help engineering teams adopt DevOps and delivery practices through communication, enablement, and reusable solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of DevOps or software engineering experience focused on CI/CD and developer tooling.
- Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD platforms and pipeline-as-code practices.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and deploying containerized applications through CI/CD.
- Working knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code, including Terraform and/or Ansible.
- Strong Linux administration and scripting skills using Bash, Python, or Go.
- Experience with middleware or messaging technologies such as Kafka, Redis, or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK.
- Strong communication skills and experience driving adoption of tooling across engineering teams.
- Experience with progressive delivery tooling such as Argo Rollouts, Flagger, or feature-flag platforms.
- Preferred experience with software supply-chain security tools such as Nexus, Sigstore/cosign, Syft/SBOM tooling, Snyk, or Trivy.
- Experience applying AI/LLM-based tools to engineering workflows and evaluating their outputs critically.
