Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build features for Kiro that improve how developers create and maintain software.
- Design and scale AI workflows across multiple models, including intelligent routing and model integrations.
- Develop context systems that retain project understanding and improve interactions over time.
- Own critical systems and define technical direction for new capabilities.
- Work across distributed systems, real-time streaming, multi-model orchestration, and AI infrastructure at scale.
- Mentor others and contribute as a technical lead or engineering team leader.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
