Base Salary
$69k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain, and support software development efforts to modernize systems.
- Develop back-end applications, custom tools, systems, and websites using modern architectures and open-source frameworks.
- Create and maintain enterprise application components, including data storage solutions and user-facing system support.
- Conduct performance testing and benchmarking and optimize data performance.
- Write source code for new applications and enhance existing code samples.
- Acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization.
- Use automated testing tools for testing and maintenance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience implementing, maintaining, and supporting software development for system modernization.
- At least 2 years of software development experience using programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks.
- Experience with software engineering, product management, software products, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Knowledge of enterprise application databases, data storage solutions, performance testing, benchmarking, and data optimization.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred experience includes Java, JavaScript, SQL, Python, server-side development, middleware, application or data integration, API development, core application systems, Node.js, Groovy, Scala, Spring Cloud, Spring Core, Spring Boot, or Spring Data.
- Candidates must complete the required skills assessment and meet the minimum proficiency threshold.
