Base Salary
$87k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance software for ground systems and real-time space-mission capabilities.
- Modernize legacy applications into microservice-based architectures.
- Develop complete solutions using back-end and front-end programming languages.
- Work with Linux-based systems, containers, orchestration tools, and cloud service providers.
- Create solutions to complex problems in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
- Acquire client requirements and optimize automation to resolve workflow problems.
- Use automated testing tools for software testing and maintenance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience using languages such as Java, Python, Rust, or Go.
- 3+ years of experience with Linux-based systems, containers, and orchestration tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience transitioning legacy applications to modernized microservice-based architectures.
- Experience working with a cloud service provider such as AWS, Azure, or Google.
- Experience developing complete solutions with front-end and back-end languages.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of software engineering experience, or 10+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred experience includes C#, C, C++, JavaScript, React, Node.js, automated testing tools, Agile environments, client requirements, workflow automation, and a master’s degree.
- Candidates must complete the required skills assessment and meet the minimum proficiency threshold.
