Base Salary

$99k - $207k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain responsive React applications for complex real-time data visualization and high-concurrency external partner use cases.
  • Build and maintain scalable APIs using Node.js, Python with FastAPI or Flask, or Java with Spring Boot.
  • Implement OAuth2, OIDC, mTLS, and RBAC authentication and authorization patterns.
  • Design and optimize interactions with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
  • Containerize applications with Docker and deploy them to Kubernetes on AWS.
  • Ensure code meets DISA STIG requirements and addresses the OWASP Top 10.
  • Integrate GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Helm charts across deployment environments.
  • Conduct code reviews, guide junior developers, and serve as the subject matter expert for third-party API integration.
  • Maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and integration guides.

Requirements

  • Current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
  • At least 5 years of full-stack software engineering experience for the mid-level track or 10 years for the senior-level track is required.
  • Advanced proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript, React, Redux, and Context API is required.
  • Strong API development experience with Node.js, Python with FastAPI or Flask, or Java with Spring Boot is required.
  • Proficiency with Docker, Dockerfiles, hardened images, and CI/CD integration is required.
  • Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD, Helm, and Kubernetes deployment is required.
  • Desired qualifications include D3.js or Recharts, GraphQL federation, AWS services, API security patterns, OWASP and STIG-compliant development, Elasticsearch optimization, RHEL 9 hardening, and relevant certifications such as AWS Developer Associate, CKAD, or CompTIA Security+.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% is required.
