Base Salary
$99k - $207k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain responsive React front-end applications that visualize complex real-time data for external partners.
- Build and maintain scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Node.js, Python with FastAPI or Flask, or Java with Spring Boot.
- Implement OAuth2, OIDC, mTLS, RBAC, and other authentication and authorization patterns for secure external data access.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis data-store interactions.
- Containerize applications with Docker and deploy them to Kubernetes on AWS in coordination with the DevSecOps team.
- Ensure software meets DISA STIG requirements and addresses the OWASP Top 10.
- Integrate GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Helm charts for multi-environment deployments.
- Conduct code reviews, guide junior developers, serve as the subject matter expert for third-party API integration, and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- Current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
- At least 5 years of mid-level or 10 years of senior-level full-stack software engineering experience is required.
- Advanced JavaScript or TypeScript and React experience, including Redux and Context API, is required.
- Strong API development experience with Node.js, Python using FastAPI or Flask, or Java using Spring Boot is required.
- Proficiency with Docker, Dockerfiles, hardened images, and CI/CD integration is required.
- Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD, Helm, and Kubernetes deployment is required.
- Experience or knowledge of D3.js or Recharts, GraphQL federation, AWS services, OAuth2, OIDC, mTLS, OWASP, DISA STIG practices, Elasticsearch optimization, RHEL 9 hardening, or relevant certifications is preferred.
- Ability to work in an agile distributed team and travel up to 5% is required.
