Lead Engineer

- Lead a tribe of engineers and partner with business stakeholders to deliver transformation across People & Culture technology domains.
- Build API-first services and event-driven architecture focused on scale, security, robustness, and user experience.
- Design and implement high-quality products, including automation and agentic AI capabilities integrated with LLMs through APIs.
- Partner with the business during discovery to uncover problems and design appropriate solutions.
- Maintain and enhance the existing codebase while supporting automated testing and delivery.
- Improve development experience through CI/CD, TDD, pair programming, code refactoring, and evolution of platform design and tooling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, to deliver effective multi-channel solutions for web and mobile.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s-level or higher qualification such as MCA, B.E., B.Tech, or M.Tech.
- Experience with Java, Node.js, Docker, and EKS.
- Experience with testing libraries and automated testing and delivery.
- Experience building agentic solutions that integrate with LLMs through APIs.
- Experience with AWS and preferably Kubernetes.
- Strong SQL experience, including performance tuning and database design.
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams and alongside UX designers.
- Experience building multi-channel web and mobile solutions.
