Responsibilities
- Operate and continuously improve Miro’s AWS infrastructure for reliability, availability, scalability, and security.
- Build and lead CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and GitHub and automate Infrastructure as Code deployments.
- Develop and maintain Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code building blocks.
- Implement infrastructure automation and observability.
- Participate in the operational rotation and resolve production incidents.
- Build, maintain, and optimize Amazon Load Balancers for efficient traffic distribution and high availability.
- Configure and maintain Amazon CloudFront distributions.
- Develop governance policies for cloud infrastructure.
- Maintain and develop Cloud WAN infrastructure.
- Drive cross-functional infrastructure projects from concept through delivery.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional experience in infrastructure, reliability, networking, software engineering, or a related area.
- At least 6 years of experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, Network Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar.
- Hands-on AWS experience with EC2, VPC, ALB, S3, Route 53, and CloudFront.
- Strong networking knowledge covering TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, BGP, IPv6, and AWS Cloud WAN.
- Solid CDN configuration experience.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience, especially with Terraform.
- Deep knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, automation, and production operations.
- Strong Linux skills and proficiency in Python, Bash, or another scripting or programming language.
- Experience driving cross-functional projects in Agile environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems and network issues and collaborate across engineering teams.
- Preferred experience with containers, Kubernetes, AWS governance and security controls including SCPs and IAM policies, reliability and incident-response improvements, large-scale CDN or edge environments, globally distributed infrastructure, GCP, and Azure.
