Base Salary
$170k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage applications and databases for high availability and performance.
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues while automating operational tasks.
- Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to design data schemas.
- Enable infrastructure provisioning for scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions.
- Provide guidance on resource usage and cost management.
- Optimize system performance and enforce data governance and security policies.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for monitoring and alerting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus 5 years of related experience.
- Experience with big data infrastructure using Hadoop ecosystems.
- Experience configuring and optimizing Linux-based servers for performance.
- Experience with Redis database administration, including sharding and scaling.
- Experience monitoring systems using tools like Kibana and Grafana.
