Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack software across the entire software development lifecycle.
- Build cloud-native applications using Kubernetes, containers, Docker, REST, and Oracle Cloud services.
- Apply software development expertise to Oracle Cloud and customer mission challenges.
- Support middleware migration involving WebLogic, JBoss, and Apache Tomcat on Linux and Windows.
- Work with Oracle RDBMS and perform data validation, business rules, and data transformation activities.
- Translate functional needs into technical solutions and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with Data, Cloud, and Security engineers using an Agile framework.
Requirements
- US citizenship is required.
- An active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly is required.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline is required.
- Hands-on software development or software engineering experience is required.
- Experience with Python, JavaScript frameworks, SQL, shell scripting, PL/SQL, and other programming languages is required.
- Experience building applications with cloud-native services, Kubernetes, containers, Docker, and REST is required.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud services and Oracle RDBMS is required or strongly desired as specified.
- Experience with middleware such as WebLogic, JBoss, or Apache Tomcat on Linux and Windows is required.
- Experience or training with Oracle Visual Builder Studio or APEX is preferred.
- Oracle Cloud OCI IaaS and/or PaaS certifications are preferred.
- Experience with AI technologies for software development and data engineering is preferred.
- A master’s degree is preferred.
