Base Salary
$138k - $246k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive adoption of platform development standards and architecture patterns.
- Lead technical delivery of software components across design, development, testing, deployment, and support while addressing risk, privacy, cybersecurity, legal, and regulatory constraints.
- Design scalable and resilient features and evaluate proposed projects, software changes, and product releases.
- Drive the platform innovation roadmap, including proof-of-concept models for emerging technologies.
- Mentor junior developers and influence technical leads, architects, and delivery teams on software engineering best practices.
- Coordinate multiple software development and integration efforts and align solutions with Lilly technologies, business processes, and strategic roadmaps.
- Apply medical-device delivery models and quality-system knowledge to meet regulatory expectations and timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience delivering software solutions across the development lifecycle.
- 5+ years of technical leadership experience delivering software projects.
- Demonstrated experience leading software design and architecture, influencing peers, proposing new ideas, and learning new technologies.
- Experience with architected asynchronous systems using Kafka or similar tools.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, identity management or authentication providers such as Okta, GitHub, CI/CD capabilities, and Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Ability to manage multiple software development and integration efforts and apply Agile software development concepts.
