Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive manual testing of new features, enhancements, bug fixes, and production releases.
- Validate revenue calculations, financial formulas, business logic, and data accuracy.
- Investigate financial data discrepancies by analyzing application behavior, database records, and API responses.
- Execute regression testing, verify bug fixes, and provide timely feedback to engineering teams.
- Create and maintain detailed test cases, test scenarios, and defect reports.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Software Engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Identify risks, drive quality independently during sprints, and contribute to QA process improvements.
- Support future test automation initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in manual quality assurance.
- Solid experience with SQL for database validation.
- Experience testing REST APIs using Postman.
- Experience validating complex business logic, calculations, or financial data.
- Strong analytical, investigative, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to investigate issues beyond standard test execution and distinguish expected from incorrect system behavior.
- Experience working independently in a remote environment and with Agile Scrum teams.
- Upper-Intermediate level of English.
- Preferred: experience with Playwright test automation and TypeScript.
- Preferred: familiarity with PostHog, Sentry, and Datadog.
- Preferred: experience working with financial or accounting systems.
