Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end UI automation suites with Selenium and Playwright, including page objects, fixtures, data setup, and teardown.
- Own test suite health by triaging failures, fixing flaky tests, and making failures actionable for developers.
- Write GraphQL API tests for queries, mutations, authentication, authorization, and error cases, along with REST API tests.
- Create Jest tests for API services and React Testing Library tests for frontend components.
- Design and automate tenant-isolation checks across the UI, API, and background jobs.
- Integrate test suites with Bitbucket Pipelines and Docker Compose, report results, and gate releases on test outcomes.
- Perform pre-release regression, post-deployment, production deployment, and database migration validation.
- Build and track k6 or JMeter load and performance scenarios across releases.
- Prepare test plans, coverage maps, clear bug reports, release feedback, and issue analyses.
- Mentor other test engineers and contribute to test-process improvement, root-cause analysis, and internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5–6 years of software testing experience, including at least 4 years building test automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium or Playwright and TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience testing GraphQL and REST APIs, including authentication, authorization, and error cases.
- Hands-on experience with Jest or comparable unit-test runners and React Testing Library.
- Experience using SQL and PostgreSQL for test-data setup and result validation.
- Experience with Docker, Docker Compose, and integrating test suites into CI systems such as Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Experience with version-control tools, JUnit, TestNG, Maven or Gradle, Postman, and JMeter.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum SDLC, JIRA, static analysis tools such as SonarQube, and API testing.
- Familiarity with Allure or ReportPortal, multi-tenant SaaS testing, k6, MuleSoft Anypoint, Azure Integration Services, OWASP security testing basics, SSO/OAuth flows, LLM-backed features, and MCP servers is preferred.
- Strong documentation, problem-solving, multitasking, mentoring, and continuous-improvement skills.
