Base Salary
$197k - $243k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom Kubernetes Operators and Controllers in Go.
- Create systems for seamless workload mobility between on-premise and public cloud environments.
- Write performant reconciliation loops and Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) for complex scheduling logic.
- Build high-level platform abstractions to enable global-scale code deployment.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience building web services using Golang or similar language.
- Experience building and operating Kubernetes clusters.
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals including control plane and scheduling.
- Experience with large scale distributed systems focusing on scalability and reliability.
- Experience with control-plane or orchestration systems.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems fundamentals.
- Experience designing systems for multi-region orchestration and disaster recovery.
- Experience with on-call duties and troubleshooting live site issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience writing Kubernetes Operators or custom controllers is a plus.
