Responsibilities
- Drive generative AI solutions across prototyping, proof-of-concept, deployment, and production optimization.
- Build robust Python backend services integrating multimodal LLMs and operating reliably under production load.
- Design and implement autonomous agent systems using tool calling, memory management, and guardrails.
- Integrate AI agents into coding, code review, testing, and documentation workflows.
- Apply clean architecture, automated testing, and reliable deployment practices while owning software quality.
- Develop evaluation and monitoring frameworks measuring accuracy, latency, cost, and other GenAI performance metrics.
- Build end-to-end RAG pipelines involving embeddings, vector databases, retrieval, re-ranking, and evaluation.
- Facilitate client workshops, present results, advise stakeholders, and assess technical feasibility.
Requirements
- Strong production-ready Python skills, including API development, testing, Git, and containerization.
- Experience with FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, prompt engineering, structured JSON outputs, and tool or function calling.
- Hands-on experience with multimodal LLM APIs such as OpenAI and Anthropic and cloud platforms such as Azure OpenAI and AWS Bedrock.
- Experience designing and orchestrating autonomous agent systems, including memory management and guardrails, such as with Pydantic AI.
- Experience working directly with clients and facilitating workshops in complex stakeholder environments.
- Completed bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a comparable field.
- Fluent German at C1 level and professional proficiency in English.
- Cloud experience is preferred, with certifications in Azure, AWS, or GCP considered an advantage.
