Base Salary

$157k - $215k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure, scalable production software solutions.
  • Review and debug code written by other engineers.
  • Lead responsible adoption and validation of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted coding, code review, testing, and troubleshooting tools.
  • Identify and automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
  • Evaluate vendor, startup, and internal architectural designs for applicability to existing systems and information architecture.
  • Coach engineers on secure, compliant, and resilient AI-assisted engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
  • At least 5 years of applied software engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
  • Experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Advanced understanding of CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
  • Practical cloud-native experience is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems is preferred.
