Base Salary
$121k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable Java backend systems and services for post-trade feed and STP processes.
- Develop high-performance applications for trade capture, data validation, enrichment, and communication with internal and external systems.
- Implement exception-handling logic, optimize application performance, and ensure system resilience.
- Monitor trade feeds, resolve STP workflow breaks, and support data integrity, processing speed, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with front office, middle office, and back office teams to improve post-trade processing and reduce operational risk.
- Deploy and debug applications on UNIX/Linux environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience, including Spring or another dependency injection framework.
- 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining scalable, real-time, low-latency, high-volume microservices.
- 5+ years of experience with Java 8+, MongoDB, Oracle Database, OpenShift, Linux, and Solace.
- 3+ years of experience with real-time messaging middleware such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Solace, or Tibco.
- Experience developing multithreaded applications and strong fundamentals in data structures, design patterns, object-oriented programming, architecture, algorithms, and problem solving.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred: capital markets and financial derivatives knowledge, low-latency Java performance tuning, RDBMS and NoSQL database experience, in-memory data stores or caches, CI/CD pipelines, and unit and end-to-end testing.

- Base salary range of $120,800.00–$170,800.00.
