Responsibilities
- Establish an SRE site and help build an effective, inclusive SRE team.
- Provide technical leadership to the local team and collaborate with partner-team technical leads and cloud leadership.
- Guide team members on availability and performance management, preventive automation, and automated responses for non-exceptional service conditions.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Lead incident management during incidents and drive MTTR according to the incident SLA.
- Ensure complete alert coverage for applications, infrastructure, security, flows, and other areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or information systems.
- 6–10 years of experience in distributed systems, storage systems, databases, algorithms and data structures, and/or Unix/Linux systems internals and administration.
- Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes and cloud environments.
- Excellent communication skills, ownership, and a systematic problem-solving approach.
