Base Salary
$104k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive software test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Execute manual and automated tests covering software functionality, performance, security, and regression validation.
- Identify, document, track, reproduce, and help resolve software defects.
- Evaluate complex test specifications and determine effective testing strategies for sophisticated systems.
- Integrate customer requirements into system-level test solutions and identify characteristics that improve testability.
- Contribute to testing process, tool, strategic planning, project planning, and risk assessment improvements.
- Provide technical leadership, training, and mentorship to junior test engineers and team members.
- Participate in client interactions, presentations, project meetings, and industry best-practice activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of software testing experience.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks including Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing, Section 508 standards, WCAG 2.0 Level A and AA criteria, security testing, and JIRA/MS TFS.
- Preferred ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent qualification.
- Preferred experience with load testing, JAWS, ZAP, Roo Code, DevOps practices and tools, and testing web, mobile, or cloud-based applications.
- Preferred proficiency in Python or JavaScript for test automation and familiarity with JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Must hold TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance to start.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and independent-working skills.
