Base Salary
$104k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive software test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Execute manual and automated tests covering functionality, performance, security, accessibility, and regression testing.
- Identify, document, track, reproduce, and help resolve software defects.
- Evaluate complex test specifications and determine effective testing strategies for sophisticated systems.
- Contribute to testing process, tool, and strategic improvements, project planning, and risk assessment.
- Provide advanced technical leadership and subject-matter expertise in testing methodologies and tools.
- Mentor and train junior test engineers and guide team members.
- Participate in client interactions, presentations, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of software testing experience with a record of delivering high-quality test results.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks, including Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing, Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards, security testing, and JIRA or MS TFS.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred: ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent, load testing, JAWS, ZAP, Roo Code, DevOps practices and tools, and testing web, mobile, or cloud-based applications.
- Preferred: scripting proficiency in Python or JavaScript and familiarity with JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Must hold TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
