Base Salary
$104k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
- Execute manual and automated tests covering functionality, performance, regression, and security.
- Identify, document, track, reproduce, and help resolve software defects.
- Evaluate test specifications and determine effective testing strategies for complex systems.
- Support accessibility testing aligned with Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 criteria.
- Improve testing processes and tools and contribute to strategic planning and risk assessment.
- Mentor junior test engineers and provide technical leadership as a testing subject matter expert.
- Participate in project meetings, client interactions, and presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of software testing experience.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks including Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing, Section 508/WCAG 2.0 standards, security testing, and JIRA or Microsoft TFS.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Preferred qualifications include ISTQB certification or equivalent, load testing, JAWS, ZAP, Roo Code, DevOps practices, web/mobile/cloud application testing, Python or JavaScript test automation, and JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Must hold TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
