Base Salary
$150k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship Premium management features across various payment systems.
- Own projects end-to-end from problem definition to ongoing reliability.
- Collaborate with product, data, and operations teams to create safe and scalable systems.
- Improve reliability and observability by instrumenting services and debugging issues.
- Write design documentation and participate in code reviews.
- Drive technical direction by proposing architectures and evaluating tradeoffs.
- Mentor and unblock mid-level engineers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with Node.js, TypeScript, React, and relational databases.
- Ability to understand the bigger picture of software development.
- Highly autonomous with a track record of driving ambiguous problems to production.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in defining success metrics and interpreting analytics.
- Effective in large organizations, building trust and maintaining momentum.
- Strong understanding of observability and its impact on reliability.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on problem-solving and feedback.
