Base Salary
$173k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction for migrating Inspections from React Native to native iOS and eventually to an SDK.
- Diagnose and resolve reliability and consistency issues in the current inspections flow.
- Create roadmaps and decompose ambiguous, multi-month initiatives into scoped workstreams.
- Build portions of the migration directly and delegate other workstreams to teammates.
- Partner with Product and Design on scope and tradeoff decisions while prioritizing user experience.
- Coordinate across the Inspections, SDK, and Mobile Core teams.
- Communicate proactively with customers before, during, and after product rollouts.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of mobile engineering experience, including at least 2 years focused on native iOS in production.
- Production experience with Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
- Experience building or maintaining a bridge layer between React Native and native code.
- Comfort with Xcode and iOS build, signing, and provisioning processes.
- Experience turning ambiguous problems into scoped plans and workstreams.
- Strong collaborative communication with Product and Design teams.
- Ability to communicate changes to a large and varied customer base.
- Experience with camera-centric native applications, on-device AI/ML model deployment, or React Native codebases and RN-to-native migrations is a plus.
