Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive development and continuous improvement of existing runtime-platform projects while shaping future initiatives.
- Design, build, and refine a highly reliable, highly available, low-latency runtime platform.
- Own and provide technical leadership for multiple runtime-platform subsystems, ensuring scalability, performance, and fault tolerance.
- Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot software features with attention to cost, scalability, performance, and fault tolerance.
- Lead projects involving 2–3 other engineers and guide the software development lifecycle from design through deployment.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, bug triage, and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Technical Operations teams across the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional experience in the software industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field preferred; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Proficiency in Go.
- Expertise designing, building, and delivering scalable, high-performance distributed systems and detailed design specifications.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server, including writing SQL.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, especially AWS and GCP.
- Knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and low-latency application development.
- Ability to identify and resolve project issues effectively and promptly.
- AdTech experience preferred.
