Responsibilities
- Own infrastructure architecture and operations for StartaleApp, Strium, and other production systems.
- Design, build, and operate highly available AWS infrastructure, including Kubernetes clusters, networking, storage, scaling, and upgrades.
- Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and build CI/CD pipelines with safe rollout and rollback capabilities.
- Operate PostgreSQL in production, including availability, replication, backups, performance, and recovery.
- Build observability and alerting across infrastructure, applications, databases, and blockchain nodes.
- Run and monitor blockchain nodes, RPC services, indexers, and transaction-processing infrastructure.
- Design disaster recovery and failover systems and harden production security through access control, secrets management, vulnerability management, and monitoring.
- Diagnose full-stack production incidents and automate recurring operational work.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform, or infrastructure engineering.
- Demonstrated experience building and operating production infrastructure for highly available systems where availability directly affected users or the business.
- Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and Linux.
- Experience with Terraform, GitOps practices, and CI/CD pipeline design.
- Strong networking fundamentals, including DNS, load balancing, TLS, and service discovery.
- Production PostgreSQL experience covering replication, backups, recovery, and performance.
- Experience with high-availability design, incident response, root-cause analysis, and capacity planning.
- Hands-on experience operating blockchain infrastructure such as nodes, RPC services, indexers, validators, or data pipelines, plus an understanding of distributed blockchain-network failures.
- Security or cloud-security experience, AWS security services, and IAM design are strong pluses.
- Experience with bare-metal operations, Helm, ArgoCD, Kafka, NATS, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or OpenTelemetry is a strong plus.
- Experience with Ethereum, Polkadot, or L2 ecosystems; financial, trading, or latency-sensitive systems; and Go, Rust, or TypeScript is advantageous.
