Base Salary
$115k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own infrastructure problems from inception and architecture through production launch.
- Write design documents and robust, high-quality, well-tested code.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and prioritize impactful roadmap projects.
- Build and ship production-ready machine learning models and software systems.
- Mentor junior engineers or learn from experienced engineers.
Requirements
- BA/BS in computer science or a related field, completed before joining.
- Experience working on infrastructure for distributed systems or cloud-native applications.
- Experience building and shipping ML models and/or solving NLP problems.
- Experience with recommendation systems, natural language processing, applied machine learning, production search or ranking systems, or related systems.
- Experience building fast web applications.
- Strong coding skills in languages such as Go, Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design principles, reliability, and scale.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data.
- Familiarity with GCP, AWS, or Azure is a plus.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule from the Mountain View office.
