Base Salary
$170k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize large-scale continual pre-training pipelines for VLM foundation models.
- Research and develop techniques for integrating new, diverse, and multimodal data streams into existing models.
- Develop and evaluate metrics and methodologies for foundation-model performance and transferability in autonomous driving.
- Translate advances in LLMs, VLMs, and continual learning into production-ready systems.
- Train, evaluate, deploy, and optimize models for autonomous-driving applications and hardware.
Requirements
- 5+ years of machine learning experience focused on large-scale model development, including LLMs, VLMs, or similar foundation models.
- Expertise in LLM/VLM pre-training and continual learning with large-scale datasets.
- Strong coding proficiency in Python and deep-learning frameworks such as Jax, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Hands-on experience with model training, evaluation, and deployment in production environments.
- Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: experience fine-tuning foundation models for autonomous driving or robotics.
- Preferred: familiarity with large-scale multimodal data curation and quality assurance.
- Preferred: background in autonomous-vehicle perception, motion planning, or decision-making systems.
- Preferred: publications in top-tier machine-learning or computer-vision conferences.
- Preferred: PhD in a relevant field.
