Responsibilities
- Lead the design and management of the full lifecycle for cloud-native products and services.
- Build intuitive UIs and customized CLIs supporting frontend, backend, database, machine learning, and GenAI applications.
- Integrate open-source technologies such as Kubernetes to improve platform reliability, efficiency, scalability, security, and operational compliance.
- Develop automation and diagnostic tools in Go and Java to streamline platform operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to validate, adopt, and integrate the eBay Cloud platform.
- Architect and deploy observability frameworks to monitor application health and enable proactive issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms, cloud-native applications, and platforms supporting application lifecycles.
- Proficiency in Java, Go, or Python.
- Deep expertise orchestrating containerized applications and building scalable, reliable cloud lifecycle management systems.
- Ability to identify system-level gaps and cross-functional issues, propose solutions, and drive end-to-end resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor team members, manage small projects, and collaborate across teams.
