Responsibilities
- Oversee the health, stability, scalability, and operational standards of CI/CD infrastructure
- Monitor and respond to outages in CI/CD systems to maintain high availability and reliability
- Develop strategies, guidelines, governance, and future-proof architecture for CI/CD systems with attention to security, compliance, and resilience
- Optimize CI/CD compute and storage usage while preserving a strong developer experience
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve CI/CD tooling issues with internal customers and engineering teams
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with CI systems such as GitLab, Jenkins, or Buildkite, particularly in self-hosted operations
- Experience with cloud-native deployment and GitOps solutions such as GitLab, Argo CD, Flux, GoCD, Spinnaker, or Harness
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
- Experience running, monitoring, and developing systems on Kubernetes using tools such as Helm
- Familiarity with cloud-native container tools and building optimized images
- Strong problem-solving, investigative, communication, cross-functional collaboration, documentation, and customer-empathy skills
- Previous experience with Google Cloud Platform, GitLab continuous integration, or Argo CD deployment platforms is desirable
