Base Salary

$170k - $265k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Implement Starshield’s cyber defense strategy and develop countermeasures against evolving threats.
  • Conduct red-team exercises, vulnerability discovery efforts, internal bug hunts, and security assessments.
  • Improve incident discovery and response capabilities for active network intrusions.
  • Collaborate with security-feature, incident-discovery, and other engineering teams across Starshield.
  • Support immediate response preparedness for active threats against production systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer security, or a similar field and 5+ years of professional cybersecurity experience in active production systems, or 7+ years of such experience.
  • Experience implementing systems for adversary detection and incident response.
  • Expertise in computer networks, large-scale distributed compute platforms, vulnerability discovery and triage is preferred.
  • Experience with continuity of operations planning and Blue Team or Red Team assessments is preferred.
  • Must successfully obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must satisfy ITAR eligibility requirements or be eligible to obtain required authorizations.
  • Active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q clearance and an advanced technical or engineering degree are preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary range is $170,000.00–$265,000.00 annually, with a 10% clearance differential up to an additional $20,000 annually for eligible employees.
