Base Salary
$170k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build cryptographic services and other security-critical infrastructure for Starlink.
- Develop security features for routers, dishes, gateways, satellites, and other Starlink systems.
- Design security into factory processes and provide supporting network services.
- Maintain production systems and improve their security through direct implementation and recommendations to other teams.
- Prototype, design, and test security improvements.
- Work extended hours and weekends as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another STEM discipline and 5+ years of professional security software development experience, or 7+ years of professional security software development experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with at least one software development language, such as Python, C++, or Golang.
- Experience designing and implementing security solutions for operating systems, distributed systems, or large-scale infrastructure.
- Preferred experience with complex systems, TPMs, HSMs, network protocols, TCP/IP, UDP-based protocols, and security improvements.
- Preferred advanced degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
- Strong communication, collaboration, independent work, ambiguity-management, and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Must satisfy applicable ITAR work-authorization or export-authorization requirements.

- Base salary range of $170,000.00-$265,000.00 for Level 3, with additional potential stock or long-term cash awards, discretionary bonuses, and employee stock purchase opportunities.
