Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to design and implement AI models and solutions optimized for Intel products.
- Prototype and develop AI software, including open-source libraries and models tailored to Intel hardware features.
- Research technical trends and improve the performance of deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Optimize AI algorithms, models, and related hardware for improved efficiency and functionality.
- Debug and resolve technical issues involving AI software and frameworks.
- Partner with software and hardware development teams to improve products and readiness for AI and HPC workloads.
- Develop competitive benchmark collateral and identify key workloads to influence product design and requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 0–1 years of hands-on AI solutions development experience gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training, or a relevant master's degree with no prior professional experience.
- Proficiency in Python and/or C++.
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow and with CPUs, GPUs, or AI accelerators.
- Foundational knowledge of computer architecture, compilers, operating systems, and computer networks.
- Preferred experience optimizing PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Familiarity with inference-serving frameworks such as vLLM or SGLang.
- Strong problem-solving, technical, software debugging, and communication skills.
