Responsibilities
- Design and implement software components across kernel, memory management, synchronization, resource allocation, security, I/O, and persistence layers.
- Develop and optimize device drivers and system services for resource-constrained embedded environments.
- Own workstreams involving hardware bring-up, peripheral drivers and communication, and power and performance management.
- Debug complex system-level issues spanning kernel through application layers.
- Lead new-device bring-up, debugging, and performance tuning across hardware, firmware, and software teams.
- Integrate partner-team software components into a unified product codebase and drive their continuous improvement.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience in embedded systems, device-driver development, or operating systems.
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience with large-scale C/C++ system-software codebases.
- Experience with source control, bug tracking, and design documentation processes.
- Hands-on hardware bring-up experience using USB, ADC, GPIO, SPI, I2C, Wi-Fi, and similar peripherals.
- Experience with BSPs, Linux kernel or operating systems, RTOS, bootloaders, power management, multimedia subsystems, audio, cameras, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
- Demonstrated experience developing, debugging, and shipping software products across large, multi-platform codebases.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
