Responsibilities
- Lead development of peripheral blocksets for ADC, PWM, UART, CAN, and related functions using foundation components and established integration patterns.
- Drive device-variant augmentation across Renesas MCU families through validation strategies and automation frameworks.
- Define block architecture, coding standards, and integration patterns for consistency, reuse, and maintainability.
- Review and optimize IO Builder and System Object implementations for performance, usability, and customer experience.
- Collaborate with the MW foundation team to maintain alignment with core dependencies and release compatibility.
- Provide technical leadership through architecture ownership, reviews, mentoring, and cross-team influence.
Requirements
- B.Tech or M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in embedded systems with strong peripheral driver development experience.
- Experience building support packages or peripheral enablement frameworks at a semiconductor supplier or tools ecosystem team.
- Strong experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and model-based development concepts, including reusable modeling patterns and code-generation integration.
- Experience designing scalable architectures for device-variant support, automation, and validation or regression testing.
- Experience creating custom blockset packages, peripheral libraries, MCAL, or CDD for semiconductor solutions is advantageous.
- Familiarity with IO Builder and System Object patterns and performance tuning in model-based workflows is advantageous.
